People had done this BLOG to discuss the main problem that the world is facing nowadays which is about the global warming, and I think together we can solve that problem which will affect in all countries and everything a life in this earth.

The Land of Milk and Honey

As the people know it now as Lebanon it located in the heart of the Middle East between 5 famous countries Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Cyprus, and Palestine.
Because of the Civil War Many Lebanese people left their country, so many singers and artist around the world have Lebanese roots, and Shakira is a very famous example who is a half Lebanese singer.
In 1943 Lebanon gained independence from France which made a vacuum in who’s going to control the country. In 1948 100,000 Palestinians were evicted from the new state of Israel and transferred to Lebanon.
In 1975 the tensions between Muslims and Christians reach the peak, because members of radical Christian’s group attacked and killed a bus full of Palestinians.
The main result of that tension was dividing the city to two sides; Muslims took the west and the Christians the east.
The Palestinian Liberation Organization was taking Beirut as a place for them, which made Israeli army, invaded the city in 1982 to remove them. USA involved itself in that war, in they reached to a peace deal in 1989.
The human and economic costs was too high, between 150-200 thousand people dies, 300,000 wounded, quarter left during the civil war and for years Beirut’s economy was paralyzed.
There are many signs that show people that Lebanon is getting better such as the young people whatever their religion they do not talk about the past, tourism getting better, foreigner’s investments, and the foreigners’ armies left.
But there are some current problems which the country is facing like the increasing the costs, unemployment and the most of the young people are leaving the country or wants to.
